ANNOUNCEMENTS

• The wrestlers who attended the ROCK CLIMBING TEAM BUILDING EVENT on Sunday, November 28th had a great time. Check back in the next few days as pictures will be posted.

• NOVEMBER 30th LHS WINTER SPORTS’ MEET THE COACHES NIGHT: Tuesday, November 30th at 7:00 pm in the LHS Auditorium. At least one parent/guardian of each wrestler MUST attend this meeting. A brief informative presentation is given by the Administration followed by breakout sessions for each sport. Expectations for parents and wrestlers are presented in addition to other topics such as MRSA, concussions, weight guidelines, and hydration testing. Parents are encouraged to ask questions.  

• DECEMBER 1st LENAPE WRESTLING TAKEDOWN CLUB MEETING: Due to the LHS Winter Sports’ Meet the Coaches Night, this meeting has been CANCELLED. Check back for future meeting date.

• The PETACCIO Family--The Petaccio’s made a $1,295 monetary donation to purchase ROPES for the LHS Wrestling program. The ROPES have been on the Wrestling “wish list” for a long time. The Petaccio’s generosity will benefit the wrestlers greatly during practice. 

•  The SHESTACK Family–The Shestack’s donated HIGH-END VIDEO EQUIPEMENT worth over $1,000, which includes a video camera, cables, a tri-pod, and video camera bag to the LHS Wrestling program.  The VIDEO EQUIPMENT was also on the Wrestling “wish list” for a long time and will save the program money as tapes are not required. The Shestack’s generosity will aide the coaches with training material, which will also benefit the wrestlers greatly.

• All the Wrestling Families–Special thanks to all the families who support the LHS Wrestling Program and Parent’s Takedown Club. Your continued support is greatly needed and appreciated by the Coaches, Administration, and most importantly by the Wrestlers!!!
