February 1st is Senior Appreciation Night. Presentations will be made to senior wrestlers, managers, and their parents prior to the Varsity match.
February 6th is the Adult Social at Cater 2U on Marne Highway in Mount Laurel from 7 pm to 11 pm. Cost is $35 per person and includes dinner, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, dessert, DJ, dancing, and a gauranteed ”great time.” Bring your family and friends. Baskets for the Chinese auction are also needed. Please contact any local business that may donate a basket or donate a basket from your family. Click here to print off a solicitation letter for business donations. Contact Lisa Kennedy for basket donations and help with auction ticket sales. All baskets must be delivered to Lisa by February 3rd. Ticket sheets for the Chinese auction will be $10 per sheet or 3 sheets for $25. Deluxe prize tickets will be $5 each or 3 for $10. This is always a fun night and funds from the Chinese Auction benefit our wrestling progam.
February 21st is the Lenape Junior Tournament from 8 am to 7 pm at Lenape High School. Volunteers are needed to assist. Lenape wrestling will receive a percentage of the profits for our help with the tournament. The income from the Lenape Junior Tournament will make-up for the income we expected from our JV Tournament that was cancelled.
Volunteers with pick-up trucks are needed to pick up mats and to help with concession stands throughout the day. Lenape wresltlers will be asked to work the tables. Anyone willing to volunteer should contact Nancy Wasson.
March 21st is the End of Year Banquet from 1 pm to 4 pm at Ramblewood Country Club. Jim Kennedy will be the MC for the event. This is always a nice event as the coaches and wrestlers reflect back on the season.
